Many in our community are looking for contemporary ways to live their Judaism. Shalom is at the centre of innovative and compelling cultural programs that provide a rich, creative expression of Jewish identity and connectivity. Through programs like PJ Library and Limmud Oz, Shalom nourishes today’s vibrant local Jewish culture, builds inclusive communities and engages young adults who are integral to the continuity of our Jewish identity.

Last year’s Succah by the Sea reimagined Jewish ritual with tens of thousands of people – Jews and others – able to experience Succah living within the iconic Sculpture by the Sea outdoor exhibition.

This year’s Adamama – Sydney’s first and only Jewish educational farm located at Maccabi White City – provides a vehicle for action and connection for young adults passionate about Jewish agriculture and environmentalism.

Our annual Limmud, and Sydney Jewish Writers’ Festival provide Sydney’s only opportunities for inclusive cultural engagement. Our theatre productions and Jewish Comedy Showcase provide immersive entertainment and connection.

We bring together thousands of young adults through Moishe House, Zikaron B’Salon, Shalom College, Professional Women’s Forum and Thinktrepreneur.

JCA funding make these diverse and pioneering Jewish community programs possible.

Young adults in their 20s and 30s. Adults who want to engage in their Jewish identity in inclusive and engaging ways.
