Provision of funds within the aged care sector will enable a sustained higher level of care and observation for our elderly during these challenging times. Increased staffing and protective equipment is needed to continue to stem the possibility of an outbreak and provide a safe haven for our seniors living at Montefiore.

One of Sydney’s oldest and largest Jewish communal organisations, Montefiore has served the community for nearly 130 years, driven by its commitment to ensure all our elders are supported to live with choice, dignity and wellbeing. Recognised as a leader in the Australian aged care sector, Montefiore provides residents at its Randwick, Woollahra and Hunters Hill campuses with an award-winning clinical and allied health program as well as quality accommodation and services. The full spectrum of Jewish spiritual and cultural life is integral to its offering, including kosher meals, Shabbat, festival and communal activities and pastoral care, as well as specialised staff training in Holocaust survivor awareness conducted in conjunction with the Sydney Jewish Museum.
