PJ library will be sending its 100,000th book in April
After 8 Successful years in Australia, next month PJ library will be sending its 100,000th book! Mazeltov on this fantastic achievement, our community is richer having had this program delivered to 1350 families across NSW and ACT.
PJ Library (PJ for pyjamas!) is a formative Jewish engagement program which supports Jewish identity in Australia. PJ Library gives the monthly gift of high-quality Jewish books to families raising Jewish children between the ages of six months and nine years old. The award-winning books celebrate Jewish culture, values and traditions through a wide range of stories and beautiful illustrations. PJ Library books are mailed directly to children so families can build their own Jewish bedtime libraries.
It’s thanks to the generosity of the organisations that support this program – the Harold Grinspoon Foundation (in the US), Shalom (a JCA Member organisation) and JCA for enabling this program to be established in our community.
