Make a donation

By becoming a monthly donor to our local community you ensure that the 24 member organisations supported by you and JCA are able to provide the programs and services to those in need.

You join a special group – our JCA Team Tzedakah – who give regularly to support needs across aged and community care; culture, engagement and outreach; education; history and heritage; and security and advocacy.  Holding our community in your heart your donation is the difference that make us stronger together.

Simcha Donation

Share the Joy

If you’re planning a celebration to mark a birthday, anniversary, wedding, bar/batmitzvah or another occasion/simcha, please consider asking your guests to make a tax deductible donation to JCA instead of buying gifts.

This mitzvah will help us support those that need it most.

A sample donation slip can be provided. For more information please contact the JCA office on 9360 2344 or email  [email protected]

The Gift of Giving

A generous and thoughtful gift for any occasion can be given through a donation to JCA.

Buying a gift certificate and making a simcha donation is a beautiful way to honour someone special and to contribute to our Jewish continuity while doing so.

JCA will personalise your gift certificate and deliver it as per your instructions.

The donation amount is not disclosed to the recipient.

Thank you for your donation.

Matched Giving

For Employees

Many organisations give their employees an opportunity to have donations to their favourite not-for-profit organisations doubled. Organisations in Australia that participate in a Matched Giving program include Investec, Macquarie Bank, Ernst & Young and Westpac.

Ask your employer to help you take advantage of the opportunity to double the difference you can make.

For Employers

Matched Giving is a powerful way to support your employees’ contributions to their community. Whatever your budget, we can help you to increase the value of your employees’ giving by working with you to develop a plan. The benefits of matched giving include:

  • Higher morale – by rewarding employees for their generosity and letting them know you care about the causes that are meaningful to them.
  • Matched donations are tax deductible.

Contact us at  [email protected]  or call us on  9360 2344 to take advantage today.

A bequest to JCA is an enduring gift that promises a stronger future for our community.

We have all benefited from the generosity and vision of members of the community who came before us. Through their legacies they laid the foundation for the communal institutions we have come to love and rely upon today.

Why leave a bequest to JCA?

After making provisions in your will for your family and loved ones, we are asking you to please consider a gift to JCA. Leaving a gift in your will is one of the most valuable ways you can support JCA and the Jewish community.

A bequest to JCA enables us to continue connecting the community, work that provides a legacy of care and vibrancy of Jewish life.

We depend on your gift for our work. Without this, our community and our member organisation would not be able to run the vital programs that underpin our lives.

JCA is uniquely placed to ensure your gift is directed to the programs you are passionate about. Whether it is aged care, education, or a range of other worthy causes, your gift will make a difference, strengthening our community and helping those who are most in need.

Suggested wording for your will

We have prepared some suggested wording that may be helpful for your solicitor when they are preparing your will.
